4.1 Security Measures of Arkee
We are committed to protecting the integrity and security of your personal information. To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or similar risks, we have implemented all legally required physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to protect and secure the information we collect on your mobile device and through the Arkee application. We ensure compliance with applicable laws to protect your personal information and employ encryption technologies such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) and appropriate encryption algorithms.
Your information is stored anonymously on secure servers and protected by controlled facilities. We classify information according to its importance and usage, ensuring it is protected at the required security level. We implement special access controls for cloud-based data storage and regularly review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access and use.
We conduct due diligence on business partners and third-party service providers to ensure they can protect your personal information. We also add contractual restrictions where necessary and perform audits and evaluations to ensure these third parties provide appropriate security standards. In addition, employees of Arkee who have access to your personal information, as well as employees of business partners and third-party service providers, are required to comply with enforceable contractual confidentiality obligations.
We conduct security and privacy protection training courses and tests to raise employee awareness of the importance of protecting personal information. We will take all reasonable and legally required measures to protect your personal information. However, you should be aware that internet use is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal information transmitted to or from you over the internet.
Our services operate within the framework of data protection laws and have third-party audits to verify their effectiveness.
4.2 What You Can Do
You can set a unique password for your Arkee service and avoid sharing your password or account information with anyone (unless you explicitly authorize them), to prevent unauthorized access that could compromise your Arkee account security. If your personal information is obtained by a third party without your authorization, resulting in a security breach, Arkee assumes no liability. Nevertheless, if your account is used without authorization or any other security breach occurs, you must notify us immediately. Your cooperation will help us protect the privacy of your personal information.

Once the collection purpose has been achieved, your deletion request has been confirmed, or the related product or service has been discontinued, we will stop retaining and will delete or anonymize the personal information.

If you delete your account, we will schedule your personal data for deletion from our active systems within 30 days. However, residual copies may remain in our backup archives for up to an additional 90 days, during which they are isolated from further processing.

We may also disclose your information if necessary for national security, law enforcement, or other matters of public importance. In addition, we may disclose your information to:
- Enforce our terms or protect our business, rights, assets, or products;
- Protect users or detect, prevent, or resolve fraud, unauthorized product use, violation of our terms or policies, or other harmful or illegal activities.
Arkee may collect, use, or disclose your personal information to the extent permitted by data protection laws. Arkee may publicly disclose your personal information in the following situations:
- When announcing winners of promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, in which case only limited information will be disclosed;
- When we obtain your explicit consent, or when you disclose information through our services (such as social media pages or public forums); and
- For legal or reasonable reasons, including compliance with laws, regulations, legal processes, or requests from competent government authorities.
6. Your rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete (and exercise other rights regarding) the personal information we hold about you (each a "Request"). These rights are subject to specific exclusions and exceptions provided under applicable law.
6.1 Details of Your Rights
- Right to be Informed: You have the right to receive an explanation, transparency, and easily understandable information about how we use your personal information and your rights. This is why we provide you with this Privacy Policy.
- Right of Access: In accordance with law or applicable law, we will provide you with a free copy of the personal information we hold about you. For additional copies of the relevant information, we may charge a reasonable fee based on the actual administrative costs permitted by applicable law.
- Right to Rectification: If any information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to correct or supplement your personal information.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Under applicable law, if our data is used for commercial purposes, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal information. We will review the reasons for your deletion request and take reasonable measures, including technical steps. Please note that due to applicable law, policy, and/or technical limitations, we may not be able to immediately delete information from backup systems. In such cases, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup can be deleted or anonymized. You may submit a request through our Delete Account Form.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing purposes (such as advertising) and, in certain circumstances, processing based on our legitimate interests.

We reserve the right to refuse a request or comply only partially where permitted by applicable exemption provisions. For example, if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or would require disclosure of third-party information. In such cases, we may charge a fee where permitted by applicable law. If we believe that granting a deletion request would prevent us from lawfully using the information for legal claims or reasons permitted by law, we may refuse the request.
6.1.1 Control and Deletion Rights for Network Storage (Cloud)
You can view, reorganize, or delete any saved link from your personal collection at any time. Deletion removes the link metadata from our servers. We do not host any file content, so there is no “recycle bin” for actual files; however, to prevent accidental loss, deleted link records may be retained in a soft‑delete state for up to 30 days before permanent removal.
6.2 Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw any consent you have previously provided for specific purposes by submitting a request, including the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal information that we hold or control. 7. Protection of Minors
Arkee regards the protection of minors’ personal information as a matter of great importance.
- If you are a minor under the legal age according to the laws of your jurisdiction, you must ensure that you have obtained the prior consent of your parents or legal guardians before accessing or utilizing our Service.
- In the event that we become aware that personal data of a minor has been gathered without the necessary prior parental consent, we will take appropriate measures to delete such information from our records as promptly as possible.
- If you believe that we might have any data from or about a minor, please reach out to us through the contact details provided in the "How can we help you?" section.

We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws by relying on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards as required by law. By using our Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information to such countries.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
